Day 01
Hanoi (1 Night)
Hanoi – Vietnam’s capital city for over 1000 years. Upon arrival at the airport, our Sunrays Holyday Tour Manager will guide all guests with airport formalities and lead the way into the city.
(Kindly note that the standard hotel check-in time is typically at 15:00 hrs onwards but may vary depending on the hotel’s policy.)
We visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex – a significant historical and cultural site dedicated to the country’s revolutionary leader, Ho Chi Minh. It is a traffic-free area consisting of several key landmarks and monuments. Here we enjoy a walking tour. We walk to the Ba Dinh Square – a vast open area where many important national events have taken place and take a photo stop outside Ho Chi Minh Museum.
We then visit One Pillar Pagoda – a historic Buddhist temple dating back to the 11th century with its unique architecture of a single pillar rising from a lotus pond and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (subject to operation) – here the preserved body of revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh is housed. We conclude our walking tour with deeper understanding of Vietnam’s rich history. Later we visit Temple of Literature – the first national university of Vietnam built in the 11th century.
In the evening, we enjoy a Musical Water Puppet Show – an ancient art form of Vietnamese orchestra acted out by puppets in a pool of water, offering an authentic Vietnamese experience.
Day 02
Hanoi – Halong Bay Overnight Cruise (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Halong Bay – a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands.
After reaching the jetty and completing check-in formalities for the cruise, we begin sailing. Aboard the cruise, enjoy lunch while sailing through scenic waters. We explore stunning limestone caves, mesmerizing karst grottos, and sail past serene islands. Along the way, admire remarkable rock formations and picturesque landscapes.
In the evening:

Participate in a cooking demonstration before dinner.

After dinner, enjoy an exciting squid fishing activity, or simply relax on the top deck, soaking in the tranquil night atmosphere.

Day 03
Halong Bay – Hanoi – Da Nang By Flight (3 Nights)
We begin our morning with a Tai Chi session, a gentle physical exercise that combines deep breathing with slow and easy movements. After that, enjoy breakfast while admiring the stunning views of Halong Bay.
Later, we disembark the cruise and travel back to Hanoi airport for our flight to Da Nang, the commercial and educational centre of Central Vietnam.
Upon arrival in Da Nang, we visit Dragon Bridge and see other illuminated bridges over the River Han.

Day 04
Da Nang – Ba Na Hills – Da Nang
Today we proceed to Sun World Ba Na Hills. Traveling along one of the most scenic roads in the city, we arrive at the cable car station of Ba Na Hills and ascend via cable car, enjoying spectacular views of Da Nang city and surrounding forests.
Our first stop is the iconic Golden Bridge – a curved, golden-hued bridge held aloft by two giant stone hands.
Next, we explore attractions including:
Enjoy an international buffet lunch at Ba Na Hills. Post lunch, we descend by cable car and head to the Marble Mountains – home to limestone caves and shrines of Lord Buddha.
We then visit Monkey Mountain to view the Linh Ung Pagoda and Lady Buddha – a 67-metre tall white statue of the Goddess of Mercy.
Day 05
Da Nang – Hoi An – Da Nang
Today we proceed to Hoi An – an ancient town recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its exceptionally well-preserved architecture and cultural charm, Hoi An is a peaceful town that blends tradition with beauty.
Upon arrival, we visit Cam Thanh Coconut Village, a serene oasis surrounded by lush coconut groves. Enjoy a basket boat ride along the river and witness thrilling basket boat dance performances by skilled boatmen.
Later, take a walking tour of the city and discover:
Hoi An is also famous for its tailoring – shops across the town offer customized dress stitching within hours.
As the sun sets, Hoi An transforms into a magical town, illuminated by thousands of lanterns. Enjoy a Lantern Boat Ride on the Hoai River and witness the shimmering beauty of Hoi An at night. Afterwards, we drive back to Da Nang.
Day 07
Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh By Flight (2 Nights)
Today, we fly to Ho Chi Minh City – a fast-paced metropolis steeped in culture and history.
Upon arrival, we proceed to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive network used during the American War. These tunnels stretch for over 200 km, connecting command posts, hospitals, shelters, and ammunition stores. They were entirely hand-dug from hard laterite without the use of cement, making them a remarkable feat of engineering that remained undiscovered by American forces during the war.
After the visit, we return to Ho Chi Minh City for the night.
Day 08
Ho Chi Minh City Tour & Departure
Your final day in Vietnam is dedicated to exploring the dynamic and historically rich city of Ho Chi Minh City. Begin with a visit to the War Crime Museum, housing an extensive collection of artifacts, weapons, and photographs that document the Vietnam War and its impact through both French and American lenses.
The tour continues with sightseeing of major landmarks including the Reunification Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, the former US Embassy, and the bustling Cho Lon district, home to the Thien Hau Pagoda.
