Tour Plan

Day 01 Rome (1 Night)

Guests will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Rome – capital of Italy, one of the oldest cities in the world. Upon arrival, Sunrays Holiday Tour Manager will guide all guests for airport formalities and proceed to the city.

Upon arrival, we walk through the amazing historical sights of Rome.
We visit Trevi Fountain – the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world,
Piazza Venezia – the central hub of Rome,
Mussolini’s Balcony – where the dictator made famous speeches,
Roman Forum – a rectangular forum surrounded by ruins of ancient government buildings.
We see the Statue of Julius Caesar at the site of his cremation and a temple atop the site,
Tiber River – the third longest river in Italy,
Photo stop at the Colosseum (Flavian Amphitheatre).

Day 02 Rome – Vatican – Pisa (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Vatican City – the world’s smallest country and home to the Pope, often called the Holy See. Upon arrival, we visit St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world – an Italian Renaissance church and an important pilgrimage site.

Later, we proceed to Pisa, a city in Italy’s Tuscany region, best known for its iconic Leaning Tower. Upon arrival, we explore Pisa city:

  • Square of Miracles – a UNESCO World Heritage Site

  • Baptistery – Roman Catholic ecclesiastical building

  • Pisa Cathedral – dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

  • Leaning Tower of Pisa – a freestanding bell tower, famous for its nearly 4-degree lean due to an unstable foundation

Day 03 Pisa – Venice – Verona (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Venice – built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea, with no roads but only canals. Upon arrival, enjoy a Vaporetto water bus ride to Venice Island and a Gondola ride through the famous canals of Venice.

Explore the highlights of Venice:

  • Bridge of Sighs – an enclosed limestone bridge in Baroque style connecting the New Prison to the Doge’s Palace

  • Doge’s Palace – a Venetian Gothic palace, former residence of the Doge of Venice

  • Bell Tower (St. Mark’s Campanile) – 98.6 m (323 ft) tall

  • St. Mark’s Square – the main public square of Venice

  • St. Mark’s Basilica – also called The Patriarchal Cathedral Basilica of Saint Mark, known for its Italian-Byzantine architecture

Later, proceed to Verona.

Day 04 Verona – Geneva (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Geneva – popularly known as the "capital of peace", as it is home to the Red Cross headquarters and the European seat of the United Nations.

During the orientation tour of Geneva, we visit:

  • Jet D’eau Fountain – 140 m high iconic water fountain

  • Geneva Lake – Switzerland’s largest lake

  • Flower Clock – a large working floral clock that changes with the seasons

  • UN Building – European headquarters of the United Nations

  • Broken Chair – a monumental wooden sculpture by Swiss artist Daniel Berset

  • Red Cross Building – Headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross

  • WHO Building – Headquarters of the World Health Organization

Day 05 Geneva – Vevey – Broc – Bern – Engelberg (3 Nights)

Today we proceed to Vevey – one of the gems of the Swiss Riviera.

  • Visit Chaplin’s World – a site dedicated to Charlie Chaplin

  • Continue to Maison Cailler – the famous Swiss chocolate factory in Broc

Then we head to Bern, the capital of Switzerland:

  • Built on a sandstone ridge surrounded by the River Aare

  • Walking tour includes:

    • Bear Pits – Swiss heritage site and symbol of Bern

    • Bern Clock Tower (Zytglogge) – 800-year-old astronomical clock tower

    • Old Town – UNESCO World Heritage Site

    • Einsteinhaus – former home of Albert Einstein

    • Aare River – the longest river flowing entirely within Switzerland

Day 06 Mt. Titlis – Lucerne

Today’s adventure begins in Engelberg, a top winter and summer holiday spot.

  • Half-day excursion to Mt. Titlis, Central Switzerland’s highest peak

  • Ride the Titlis Rotair – world’s first revolving cable car – with stunning Alpine views

  • Activities at the summit:

    • Visit the Ice Grotto

    • Experience the thrilling Ice Flyer ride and Snow sliding

    • Walk on the Mt. Titlis Cliff Walk

Afternoon: Travel to Lucerne

  • Visit the Lion Monument – tribute to Swiss Guards killed during the French Revolution

  • Explore Kappelbrucke – world’s oldest covered wooden bridge across the River Reuss

  • End the day with a scenic Lake Lucerne Cruise

Day 07 Jungfraujoch – Interlaken

Begin the day with a full-day excursion to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe.

  • Travel via Grindelwald, then board the Eiger Express, the world’s most advanced tricable gondola

  • Reach Eiger Glacier station in just 15 minutes

  • Transfer to a Cogwheel train to ascend to Europe’s highest railway station at 3,454 metres (11,332 ft)

  • Enjoy breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks

Highlights at Jungfraujoch:

  • Snow-covered mountains

  • Ice sculptures and Ice Palace

  • Sphinx Terrace for panoramic views

Evening: Visit Interlaken, a scenic resort town nestled in the Bernese Oberland

  • Situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz

Day 08 Engelberg – Rhine Falls – Vaduz – Innsbruck
  • Visit Rhine Falls, Schaffhausen (Neuhausen) – the most powerful waterfall in Europe

    • Enjoy a Boat Ride for stunning views of the falls

  • Proceed to Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein – one of Europe’s smallest countries

    • Explore the city with a City Tram Ride through its historic area

  • Continue to Innsbruck, one of Europe’s most picturesque Old Towns

    • Surrounded by snow-capped peaks

Day 09 Innsbruck – Wattens – Salzburg

Day 10 Salzburg to Vienna
  • Proceed to Vienna, capital of Austria, known as one of Europe's most visited cities.

    • 18th-century Baroque palace that was the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers.

    • It's one of the country's most important cultural and architectural landmarks.

  • City walk highlights include:

    • Vienna State Opera House – one of the world’s premier opera houses

    • Parliament Building – monumental neoclassical architecture

    • City Hall – neo-Gothic administrative centre

    • Hofburg Palace – former imperial palace of the Habsburg dynasty and current workplace of the President of Austria
